Excerpts from Press Reviews / Critics
Choreographic triptych of three authors of The Rite of Spring is divided into three phases, three steps of awakening life energy. In the first stage, choreographed by Jana Mneger four dancers of our younger generation of contemporary dance, Maša Hawlina, Kristina Rozman, Tajda Podobnik and Veronika Valdés step by step predict the expectation and hopefully of devise a new one. The decisive steps, poses, rush, running and meetings create a precise and “clean” choreography the exact line and pure choreography set in contours of light ...
The second phase is choreographed and performed by Rosana Hribar, who invited two artists Ana Pandur Predin and Marjan Stanič, who take the role ofperforming rhythmicsequences and improvised music ... and Rosana dances her divine dance magnetized by her passion that spreads across the stage as the light itself. ... The reality is that Rosana’s dance is always genuine and dancing is her passion, it is full of vitality, it is alive and convincing.
In the third part choreographer and dancer Maša Kagao Knez in a completely unique way combines music and dance. Musicians in their rhythmic designs create the mold and Maša recreates music with her rhythmic flexible movements ... Her dance is new again and in a completely different way, after falling in the ecstasy of power, when she is on the ground balancing out new physical levels and releasing excessive internal tensions. The choreography of the third triptych no longer tells the story but is an actual ritual in itself. Daliborka Podboj, Dance Parade
